Bronc, we do realize our portrayal of hackers is cartoonish--but then, so
is our portrayal of ourselves, of etoy, of eToys....

No one really thinks we're going to destroy eToys. It's a sensationalist
press release--we're trying to show that what eToys is doing to etoy is so
egregiously awful that the equal and opposite response is a campaign to
destroy eToys.

We do have a legal system in this country, and in fact every country on
earth has a legal system, but we believe it has not just failed here in
the US to protect us against corporate predation, but failed
spectacularly--and that's not correct either: it's been hijacked. We're
trying to create news that focusses on this issue, and we use
sensationalist language to do so. (We've had success with it in the past,
with gwbush.com, gatt.org, etc.)
