Zeng Feiyang, Director of the Penyu Migrant Workers Documentation Center in Guangzhou province will be at the Murphy Institute for Labor, Community, and Policy Studies tomorrow at 2 PM to talk with other labor and worker organizations about migration issues in China and the United States. This will be an opportunity to compare organizing strategies and tactics of immigrant/migrant worker organizations and also to get an update on the largest migration in the history of the world that is taking place in China today. The Penyu Migrant Workers Documentation Center coordinate legal-aid projects for migrant workers in Zhujiang Delta to promote labor rights and publicity among workers. Zeng Feiyang has also developed factory audits and worker training programs and coordinated a survey on industrial injuries in Zhujaing Delta.
