greetings........So,it was not a serious request.
Good. I did not take it seriously. Unfortunately
the same cannot be said for everybody. Many
people would & may have panicked at such
words. This will not help you either.I detest what
eToys has done...just as many many are doing
right now. Still, making such a request is bad
publicity for you And us. A no win situation I am
sure most of us dont want to get into, especailly
at this point in time where we are gaining some
respect. may I suggest plastering pages
everywhere you can telling your story? and
posting to any and every messageboard you can
reach? You just might be surprised how fast the
word spreads.....And It will gain you
support...for dealing with it in a "legal"
fashion...as apposed to eToys...whom is obviously
not.
Be bigger about it than they are,and it will help
you in the long run.
Also,hint:..."Spread the word!".......let the
reg.citizens know what is /has been going
on....Some of us are doing just that....a few
well chosen, informative words from the sites
under attack would only help.
Peace

Greetings
Any dealings with BB are usually fraught with
confusion, crossed wires and red tape...thats one
of their self protection devices. As for ears
being everywhere...arg. it comes with the
territory...like having an open list...But! to
close it and "hope" we are keeping the snoops
out...would be usless and non productive,if not
self defeating....Having it open is getting the
word out on many many even more important causes
than a gang of BB toy sites.
I am sorry and sickened there is a rat(or more
than one) whom panicked and did that to you. What
you said was just mainly mulling a thought
over, obviously. It just goes to show, due to their
own practices on eachother and anybody they
choose to step on that, yes, they are scared. As
they should be,too bad they are not scared
straight.BB toy sites can rest assured they are
still small fry compared to what many of us
already have on our plates...Far bigger fish to
fry.We reserve special tactics for special
occasions...the most effective way to deal with
the small fry is to spread the word, and get
people aware, and involved. we cannot go off like
loose cannons ,crashing toy sites and such over
domain struggles...that would be overkill
extreeme. Too small a problem(yet) and we would
loose any credibility we have gained by doing
such a thing. public Information will take care
of that eventually.
I do hope all is well for you soon,Eric...After
all,it was not acted upon,so the school should
not have any real grounds to act on.((except for
the remark about ;"why does shutting down toy
sites excite me so?"...er...that might be
sticky....hehe...I dont know why..do you?))
Har!
anyway, remember this?...don't let em see ya
sweat....they thrive on that....
Hang in there!
Solidarity!

Oh!...and yes....it really IS possible to shut
down even the great Amazon.com...'Especially'
considering the already extreemly high volume of
traffic they must have....but why bother?
peace
