erm...no they don't. The only data that cookies can store is data
that the site originally sent to you. The site can send you a visitor
ID or something so it can recognise you next time you come back
but that's all it can do.
A cookie doesn't actually *do* anything. It's just a line or two of data
that the remote web server asks your browser to store on your
machine.
