Follow up to the Oregonian article

Reading this article
(http://www.newsunlimited.co.uk/society/story/0,3605,86734,00.html)
today made
me realise how probable it is that corporations employ
PR companies to create an image of something which goes
far beyond the actual field the corporation might be
working in. And to what lengths they would go to
achieve this. On this list the image of "hacking" and
"hacktivism" is obviously of greatest interest. Is
somebody out there actively working on the image of
hackers and hacktivism as terrorists/-ism?

Paranoid thoughts.

Whether this is so or not we may never find out, but
one other thing became clear in the article. That
activist "propaganda" is working. And that governments
and corporations are scared of this. Resistance is not
futile :-)
