   To recap: as most of you are aware, Zarcae has merged with the hacker
think tank LoU (Legions of the Underground) as of 1 AM Eastern Time, last
Thurs. Many of you are also aware of Zarcae's purpose: the formation of a
class of hacker who can argue consistently and rationally apologetics not
only to our own people, but to the world as a whole. Simply reciting outworn
chants to ourselves is foolish: things require a firm foundation, and a new
way approach to garner the world on our side. Why should we always be in
opposition? Surely the more honorable thing would be to change the opinion
of the masses, not through violence, but through our the example of our
lives and words. As Ghandi showed, non-violence melts the heart of all but
the most tyrannical of tyrants. The pen IS mightier than the sword, as has
historically been shown. The prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah are still read,
though the men who killed them are historical footnotes. The actions of
Christ are regarded as among the highest and noblest in human history, yet
the men who killed him, their memory lives on only in the annals of scholars
and dusty scrolls of an Empire long dead. A new type of hacker must be
raised: the type which is proficient both with the sword of the modem, and
the quill of his tongue, ready both to defend the masses from those who
would exploit them, and to defend his brethren hackers from the world at
large from those who persecute us, and place us in chains.
     I'm trying to buy the domain for Zarcae, but in looking at the price
($70) is seems a bit expensive; does anyone know of a (and I stress) legal
way of getting it for less? If necessary. I'll pay the 70, but as a
admittedly poor student, such is a heavy expense. Any help would be greatly
appreciated!
