~e; the public.internetworking of EM

  for PEN and ~e.org listmembers, there is an
  ongoing event now happening, in which i will
  be writing about, central to the ideas and the
  issues behind such public work as these. it is
  not mission critical to those on the list to read
  such works, but at the same time, there is an
  ongoing problem which needs, and is now going
  to be addressed, head-on, and with some oomph.

  it is unfortunate to have to engage on this level
  of things, but the way things are necessitates
  such games if change is to occur, as the playing
  field has private owners. such is the nature of
  the e-mail, and puts this work in jeopardy for
  addressing such an issue. it is a conscious choice,
  a calculated risk, and it is believed that to wait
  to address these issues would be irresponsible,
  as the chance may not arise again, in such a way.
