[: hacktivism :]

I just want to say that I find RTMark to be massively annoying. These
people are NOTHING that I want hacktivism to be about. This whole
movement to "shut down" various websites and other dumb ass and pathetic
attempts at some sort of revolutionary hacking are simply counter
productive to the whole hacktivism idea and pointless wastes of time if
they were carried out.

Oooooo...you shut down eToys. Wow. I am so ever impressed. Hey look,
it's back up six hours later along with a couple hundred press reports
bashing hacking and claiming that poor eToys.com lost a shit-ton of
money and customers were inconvenienced.

Wow, that is SUCH good publicity for us.

I am not entirely adverse to extreme methods of defending ourselves
against encroaching media monopolies, but this is dumb.

RTMark is engaging in a plain old publicity stunt, uses dishonest
methods for publicizing those stunts, and violating many of the same
ideals we supposedly fight for.

The etoys lawsuit against the etoy art group is indeed utterly
reprehensible, brutal, and an example of what is wrong with so many
coporations. However, THAT is someting to be fought for through the
dissemination of information and in the courts. It is a fucking
trademark issue for fuck's sake? What the HELL is "destroying" them
going to do.

In response to RTMark's claim that "destroy" is merely a bunch of
hyperbole, well guess what, THAT DOESNT MAKE IT ANY BETTER!

Hey congrats! You know who else uses brutally inflated hyperbole to get
their message across and dominate the conversation? Yes, that's right!
THE VERY PEOPLE YOU ARE FIGHTING AGAINST!

I do NOT appreciate using this news group to spread propagandist crap.
