Did the Echelon Intercept Filters choke on all those key words?

Last month, there was a Campaign launched to clog Echelon text Intercept Filters by appending a long list of words which were believed to be intercepted by Echelon. I recall seeing an article about it and there was mention of this hactivism mail list.

Does anyone know how successful those efforts were?

Did the Echelon SPY system have any difficulties, at least that we may know about?
