Egad......
Here it comes.....the wads of tin foil and chicken
wire....! I am hearing murmers and wispers of these...

seriously though........
Sorry..... not gonna do it...just not gonna work. 
This fix will be expensive,my friends. a price to be
had for our sheeplike complacence, I'm afraid.
No....aluminum foil would be a better conductor,I
fear...as would a steel chain,grill,or wire net. Might
as well add a welcome matt. these will act as
antennae.
(a nice tin foil hat however will keep us safe from
most people.."them" included....they will fear us )
There IS something as well as
lead..........................ARG..it escapes me at
the moment...BUT (that word again)..it is even more
expensive.
In this case,fight fire with fire.....
