[: hacktivism :]

Greetings,
I've only been on this email list for about two weeks, and would like
to help bring some light to Sam's ideas below.

I'm working on a web site entitled 'Direct Action Resource Site', which will have info. relating to hacktivism, liberation struggles, and useful resources on the net. Any help/ideas/contributions would be appreciated.

I hope that we can bring some real meaning to the word _hacktivism_,
and not let the word by interpreted by the corporate media like the word _hacker_ has become.

[: hacktivism :]

 hi,

programmers, hackers, media makers, activists, historians, ... all need to collaborate with each other, not necessarily simultaneously, at some time, for some time, to get some 'thing' done.

how can we work together more effectively?

are there any models available for facilitating/doing 'hacktivism' through the net?
how can this be done? can it be done without knowing/meeting/trusting each other in the physical world?

 - sam.

======================================================================While the Apache death song recognizes death and its inevitability, it is significant that Geronimo's did not.
His last words -- singing on his death bed,
O Ha Le
 O Ha Le
I am waiting for the change!
Some Apaches say he never surrendered. Not even to death.
