<<<EHippies:
Finally, it would appear that the browser writers
are catching up with the
electrohippies. We were planning a Ken Saro Wiwa
memorial action in early
November. However, we had to call it off when we
found that Netscape
Communicator 4.7 now block not only the remote
submission of forms, but
also the automated filling of form fields on
remote sites. It would appear
that there are now serious moves by the
'standard' software writers to
control how browsers are used, in particular in
ways that could automate
online protest actions.
Happy action-hacking to you all,
DJNZ>>>
I looked into a bunch, but need a "free"
browser. Fighting with this one.
I had to tank Netscape6 completely.
& the McAffee "Virus" update keeps me pc freezing
too much.
Anybody else having "fun" with McAffee?
Had to take it off, search & Still find tons of
stray fragments, now it's made my OS quite
unstable.
