If 15 states gave one presidential contender 51% of the vote, that contender
will be president of the United States. This may sound stupid and it
certainly is stupid, but it is a reality that the electoral college does
exactly that. This makes Americas claim of it's being a democracy to be
false and it's claim to be a republic to be also false. What America is in
fact is just a strange collection of laws that make the formation of an
dictatorship of the corporations unavoidable, To this end Direct Democracy
TV will air a debate about the electoral college on November 16, 2000 on
channel 35 at 7:00PM in Queens New York. feel free to copy it on your VCR
