[: hacktivism :]

Greetings all,

Understand that I am not speaking on behalf of the Hacktivist Bureau of Public Perception Management, but only on a personal level. In my humble opinion Religion and Hacktivism should not be blended, which is not to say that to be a Hacktivist you must abandon religion, however preaching has no place on Hacktivism. I am decidedly uneasy on your whole "holier than thou" position you are expunging unto us. Understand this is not a personal attack per se, just an attack on the ideology. Hacktivism is all about fighting "injustices", and the meaning of injustice is ultimately up to the individual. In my opinion organised religion, particularly Christianity (no offence to the Christians) is a very, very bad thing, The cross is the bloodiest banner in history, and has promoted, indeed comitted so many injustices it is unbelievable. We are Hacktivists, and we are still establishing our niche, and our identity. In my opinion this predilection for religous fanatacism you are promoting can only lead to our downfall. We are trying to create a new culture: free of the hang-ups of established culture. Fanatacism is inefficient. Fanatacism clouds judgement immensely. Objectivity is the name of the game, my friends.
Only from an objective viewpoint can rationality be maintained, and fanatacism and rationality rarely mix. Now achieving an objective viewpoint is not easy, and indeed may be highly improbable, but we can certainly enhance our chances of achieving this state by shying from religous fanaticism, or indeed any other fanatacism. What you are proposing, in promoting the aims of Hacktivism and melding public perception is exactly what we wish to do with the HBPPM, so to any and all of you who are uneasy with Zarcae, I urge you to turn to the Bureau. Rationality is our friend, not fanatacism.

Carpe Diem,

Visceroth
