  Cos'e' il Netstrike:

  Netstrike o più propriamente corteo telematico è una pratica di
  mobilitazione in Rete che consiste nell'invitare una massa
considerevole di
  utenti possessori di accessi Internet e browsers a "puntare" i propri
modem
  verso uno specifico URL ad una precisa ora e ripetutamente in maniera
tale
  da "occupare" un sito web fino a renderlo inutilizzabile almeno per
l'ora
  della mobilitazione. Un'occupazione di "banda" simile ad un corteo
fisico
  che occupa una strada fino a renderla inaccessibile ad altre/i. L'idea
base
  è quella che un'azione individuale in rete ritenuta legittima a tutti
gli
  effetti se portata avanti contemporaneamente da una massa di utenti e
su un
  comune indirizzo può causare un disservizio. Alcuni consigli per
partecipare
  ad un Netstrike:

  * RELOAD continuamente sul link interessato
  * aprire quanti più browser possibili e da ognuno caricare le pagine
  interessate
  * NON impostare proxies per il browser
  * settare a 0 le memorie cache del browser
  * utilizzare programmi come teleport ~

on 12-15 June 2000 with the aim to support the globalization of the
markets
and the profits of the big companies.
At the same time, the people not invited to this meeting is going to
suffer
from worst life conditions (work, environment, health etc.).

But what is "netstrike" ?

Netstrike means electronic parade and can be carried out by many net
surfers that reload continuously the same web page at the same hour so
to
fulfill the bandwidth and crash for a little the system.
It sounds like the effect of a crowd standin up for their rights in a
street.
It can be considered a legal initiative as it as an invite to develop a
common internet session but in a massive way.

Some advices:

* let reload the web page continuously
* use as many browsers as possible
* do not take advantage of proxies or cache
* do take adavantage of software like teleport ~
