  [do not know who this person/writer is, if they are a humorist or
  what, but it made me both laugh and contemplate what it may mean,
  beyond the pun. the watch has had a great historical analysis by a
  few different people, from earliest versions, waterclocks and all,
  to its role in monastic life, to the 24 hour day (no evening/night)...]
