  [interesting article on the classic 12 volt battery being replaced by an
  upgraded 36 volt version, transformating the original AM radio powering
  setup to deal with GPS units, car doodads, and also increase fuel-efficiency.
  question is, is the disposal of these things any better than the previous?]
