  the reason this may be important to people beyond the USA is,
  besides global warming issues, issues of the reinvention of
  the nuclear industry (and weaponry), and other things, is that
  the way such actions are taken have more than a hint of inside
  deals, given both Administration contacts, Government leaders,
  Industry leaders, and a wall of bureaucracy standing inbetween
  the truth and the power system that believes their version is
  the only way things can be done, as industrial worldviews are
  well-noted to have, due to issues of the control of power, etc.
  this small news item is central to the US local-global strategy
  which is only going forward into the past. as a citizen, as a
  human being, this type of 'public representation' is disgraceful
  in that a business person's worldview may bring down democracy.
