Reportedly 40,000 laid-off steel workers marched in Anyang on Sept.
20th, and steel workers (not sure if laid-off or not) in Chongqing
have been blocking a road on and off for a few weeks now. The latter
protest also spread to at least one other factory. Haven't seen a peep
in the Chinese or English press on this. Anyone outside the Great
Firewall heard anything?

Cheers,

JL
