Today the Commission released a report entitled: "The Changing Nature of
Corporate Global Restructuring: The Impact of Production Shifts on Jobs in
the U.S., China, and Around the Globe." The report was commissioned to
research the impact on the U.S. economy of production shifts to China and
globally. The research report was jointly prepared by Dr. Kate
Bronfenbrenner, Director of Labor Education Research, Cornell University,
and Dr. Stephanie Luce, Research Director and Assistant Professor,
