What kind of demonstration did you have in mind? So
far as I know, (sticking to your cypto/domain
examples) the best you could do would be to point out
some similiar domain names (etoys/etoy,
whitehouse.gov/.com, gwbush.com) - which, somehow, I
don't think is likely to win over your local
congressionate, or even really strike him as an
important issue.
Now, if you were to hack his email, and walk in, hand
him printouts of his personal correspondence, you
could probably sell him on strong crypto, but you're
laible to end up in jail.
