[: hacktivism :]
Hello. I have been reading these threads since I got on the list, about a
week ago. I was originally interested in this list because of the activism
portion of the discussion. Now the Hacking portion is starting to become
more and more intriguing. I am certainly computer literate, and have a lot
of basic, self taught skills, but I would like to find out more about the
specifics of hacking. I have read through many documents that I found at / flashback underground library /
(http://www.flashback.se/arkiv/a/) which is a wonderful collection of info,
if you haven't been there. They offer plenty of technical and political info
on hacking, but it is all from 94 or older (almost only dealing with UNIX).
I know that technology and security systems have advanced quite a bit since
then, so I treated the info I read as simply historical entertainment. But
where (or from whom) could one get a primer or a taste of up to date
technology and techniques?
Namaste'
