hola all,

this is a bad english translation for a call to online action,
read it and send us if there are problems...
(if someone is able to translate it in spanish, italian, german, etc...
he/she is welcome!! we need more languages)

this action will be a chat one, so demonstrators will be able to see
and to talk each other, more details later

ciao,
r.

Call to a Direct Demonstration on the Internet
Online Civil Disobedience
In Support of S26 Actions in Prague and Around the World

We do not want your financial globalization. We do not believe in
your utopia. We ask just for an equality of rights and resources,
say no to the money dictatorship, say no to the liberal fascism.

Here are some choosen extracts, to see the problem:
1. Uncle Sam generosities ::
In front of the Congress, Lloyd Bentsen, former secretary in the
Treasury, explained which advantages the United States fired of
their contribution to the functioning of the Bank: " The last year,
the United States moved a participation of 1,6 billion dollars to the
multilateral banks. In return, banks granted to the American
companies of the contracts for equipment for an amount superior
to 2,2 billion dollars. Difference in favour of the United States is of
37 % ". (Quoted in Mediterranean Watch Group one Multilateral
Banks, " Background materials ", Malta, in March 18- 20, 1999)

2. Conditions, colonization::
" I do not love the idea of " conditionnality, nor that of standard of
behaviour: it is sterile and neocolonialist " Rubens Ricupero,
General Secretary of UNCTAD (conference of Nations United on
the business and the development)

3. Larry Summers, ecology according to the Bank::
" I always thought that the underpopulated countries of Africa, are
widely under polluted. The quality of the air is there probably of a
level pointlessly raised as compared with Los Angeles or Mexico
City. " And also " I think that the economic logic which wants that
masses of toxic waste are poured there where salaries are the
weakest is unstoppable! " internal note signed Lawrence
Summers, " Best US economist ", Former vice preside of the
world Bank, Director of the American Treasury

Thanks to: 'Reseau Sans Titre' for the brochure these quotations of
which arise, you can find the complete text of the brochure on the
site Network Without Title (in French):: http: //

In support to demonstrations on Prague an on-line demonstration
is organized, it is opened to everybody. This demonstration is
apolitical, its purpose is not destruction, but only to show to the
international oligarchy how much we are against the devastation of
economies, populations and environment for the only profit of a
minority.

/ functioning is simple: to slow down or to block access to some
websites close to the IMF and to the World Bank, as a
demonstration in the real world can block the streets.

/ this action is peaceful:
No act of vandalism is committed, no intrusion is made by
whatever means it is on the aimed websites. The freezing of
websites is made only by the normal way of visit of a site: the
www address.

/ this action is differente from TribalFloodNet2k attack:

/ our demands are:

1. A change in the mode of action of the globalization, to attain
an organic globalization respecting the peoples and the
environment rather than in the current globalization only used for
enriching the richest at the expense of the poorest.

2. Specifically for interNet, a recognition of the right to
demonstrate on the web as a free expression right by the
authorities of international law.
