Greetz!
           I second this motion supremely!
As someone also previously mentioned...How about
calling this universal message..a manifesto?
The JED manifesto.
For each & every one of us to make the same
statement to the press will present a united
image & boost our credibility thus increasing the
chances of attracting more widespread attention
to JEDII.
*This can only Help our efforts to educate the
public.*
Should anyone have more to add to this message,
it could read as
["message body"]..the last few lines below the
body could read: "And so'n'so@blahblah.com
added:....."
for any personal 2 cts we might have...? Or,
Like...If there were more recent happenings since
the original message's conception that need to be
tacked on?...
I for one believe that we have MANY wonderfully
articulate people on this list more than capable
of writing a masterful manifesto.
Another thought could be to...cull some good
points and information from several sources, and
weave them into this message along with links to
revelent sites that have more show & tell on the
echelon program.
The "Global InfoWar" problem should be included
as it is Extremely relevent to privacy & freedom
issues as well.
((methinks they all 'sleep in the same bed
anyway'....))
I wonder...Since we will be using cryptography
for our mail, has anyone any ideas on which crypto
prog we should use?...b'cause...chances
are..whichever one we use..will likely get busted
wide open.I dont want my fave to get ripped apart
& made usless thereafter.....Or.., special for
the occasion,... we could just use a weak easy
one..so's they wont be able to put us off, saying
they 'didnt get the message'....?....
How about one 'THEY' already have?...using an old
Gov crypto would add an ironic twist to this
movenent that even 'they' could appreciate...
I know Everybody would not want to download
another new prog.(pity,that)...& some would not
even know how to use them..B.U.T....If a great
majority DID use one of these, it would still be
effective for it's purpose...
PGP..they will not seriously be able to break
that for this many messages.
((Unless we carelessly tack on the key somewhere
or give an obvious unmistakeable clue where to
find it))....also...they COULD just turn around
and make it illegal out of spite.
At any rate..they will never get that message if
they canna break the crypto...
Either way...

Peace!
