--- ideas ---

* decided to investigate a blog for the electronetwork
domain. may go movabletype though was hoping to find
a blog that could send a newsletter of urls also. i
have asked about this before and appreciated responses
and the reason it is a difficult move is that up until
recently my webhost allowed 1 mysql database and now
2 can be used, which will help if there one solution
doesn't do it (blog, list, other). i am not the most
technical person and past experience has shown a need
to futz with code to get it to work, always a hassle.
so given time a shift will occur, this list will be
changed, anyone knows of a (free) blog with list or
something manageable (not needing to be complex and
highly complicated CMS, not impossible to customize
and stay sane, etc). the free Movabletype will allow
one poster, with a few donations (60 bucks) it would
allow up to five people to post, etc. will see and
any advice, ideas, as always, appreciated, valued.

* wondering when and if Google will add public-domain
GIS (geographic information systems) data into the
Google Maps interface. such as census statistics, etc.

* France has secured the ITER nuclear fusion project.
