~e; mysql/php database question

  hello ~e-list,

  the electronetwork.org website is currently being
  built out. part of this entails creating databases
  for various functions, the first being a contacts
  database for individuals, businesses, organizations,
  and .gov agencies whose work raises public awareness
  of electromagnetism.

  so far, all attempts to get a front-end interface for
  the mysql database have not worked as was hoped. of
  four freeware programs, most problems occurred with
  trying to create either, more than one database using
  the same program, or modifying codes. thus, a question
  if anyone knows of a robust open-source mysql database
  program which is simple yet malleable.

  (have looked at the well-rated programs phpbuilder.net
  and hotscripts.com and yet have not found anything yet).
